5 Good Things to Add to Your Schedule

Covid can be challenging and even boring. Check out these great ideas for being productive and Christ-focused.

In 5 Productive Projects for Christians, I encouraged you to
make the most of every opportunity, especially during difficult seasons of life and times when cultural values are so challenging (Ephesians 5:15-17).

Let me share 5 more ideas for using your time wisely for the Lord:

1. Prepare and practice your testimony so it’s understandable, succinct, and encouraging (1 Peter 3:15).

Consider writing it, recording it, or creating a video.

See 6 Ways to Use a Written Testimony

2. Learn to play a musical instrument for the purpose of praising the Lord in song (Psalm 150).

3. Write a Bible study for children or adults.

See How to Prepare a Bible Study

For grandparents, set up a zoom or skype "Bible Club" with your grandchildren if you can't meet with them in person. See Joyful Grandparenting, Sharing Christ.

4. “Adopt” a missionary (Matthew 10:40-42).

Whether or not you can help them financially, find out how you can pray for them and encourage them.

5. De-clutter your life.

You can do this literally, taking advantage of your time at home by cleaning out closets and making your life more efficient. But you can also do it spiritually.

See A Cleaning Principle that Applies to Our Spirits and Declutter and Refresh Spiritually.
