“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.” Proverbs 27:1
More than ever we realize the truth of this proverb!
“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
This is a unique season in history, but God has purposes for us.
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.” Ephesians 5:15-17
Let’s be careful and wise, making the most of the opportunities we have. And most importantly, let’s seek to understand the Lord’s will for us during this season of life.
Then we can move forward, doing everything with our whole heart “as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” He’s our boss and He’ll reward our faithfulness in this difficult season of life! (Colossians 3:23-24).
