When we listen to God's Spirit (Romans 8:12-13) and refuse to conform to the world, we transform and renew our minds (Romans 12:2).
1. Guard you eyes.
The Psalmist vowed to set nothing vile before his eyes (Psalm 101).
"Out of sight, out of mind" isn't a guarantee, but it's a good first step.
2. Guard your mouth.
We shouldn't spend time discussing dark and evil things, nor should we use bad language (Ephesians 5:1-20).
3. Guard your ears.
We must refuse to listen to ungodly advice or the false philosophies so popular in our world (Psalm 1:1; Colossians 2:8)
When we guard eyes, ears and mouth, we ultimately guard our hearts which is oh, so important! (Proverbs 4:23)
