Joyful Conversion

The story of the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8 teaches us something very important about having joy in Jesus.

When Philip evangelized the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:26-39, God revealed 7 Wonderful Truths.

Truth #7: Knowing Jesus brings us joy!!

💙 Salvation brings us joy.

After Philip baptized the eunuch, "when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing."

💙 God's plans, purposes, and commands also bring us joy.

"If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete."  John 15:10-11

💙 We can also have joy in the midst of our difficulties.

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." James 1:2-3

Are you lacking joy? Make it a matter of prayer.

Why not memorize the verses above? It's always helpful to dwell on God's Word and hide it in your heart.
