God's Commands About Intimacy Are Loving, Purposeful, and Healthy

God's commands are all designed for our spiritual, emotional, and physical health. As our Designer, He loves us and knows what is best for us.

God loves us and wants what is best for us. Every command and warning in Scripture is based on His love and wisdom.

He designed sexual intimacy for one man and one woman married to each other (Genesis 2:21-25; Matthew 19:5). Other forms of sexual intimacy damage our hearts and souls (1 Corinthians 6:18).

When cultures decline morally, they start by accepting premarital sex. This leads to increased adultery and pornography. Eventually, homosexuality and other unnatural forms of sexual intimacy are accepted.

Romans 1:18-32 explains this moral decline that starts by doubting God and ends by defying Him. Our present culture is in the final stages, and errors are even being taught in our churches. Remnant Christians need to be well informed.

Let's share how God saved us from evil desires (1 Peter 1:13-14). Let's explain that certain behaviors damage our hearts and souls. And let's tell people of God's love for them and His desire to save them from their sins (1 Corinthians 6:9-11; John 3:16).

Each of us must decide if we believe that our Lord's commands are loving, purposeful, and right—or if we believe the lies of culture that damage and destroy people.
