Anyone can have faith when life is easy, but genuine faith can be tested.
When the rubber meets the road, genuine believers do more than speak it. They live it.
⮞ Genuine faith does the hard things: Abraham offered up Isaac (Hebrews 11:17).
⮞ Genuine faith forgives: Joseph refused to become bitter (Genesis 50:19-21).
⮞ Genuine faith acts even when it’s costly: Esther did what was dangerous (Esther 4).
⮞ Genuine faith puts others above self: Ruth honored Naomi.
⮞ Genuine faith takes a stand: David picked up his sling shot.
⮞ Genuine faith overcomes: Paul didn't let persecution stop him (2 Corinthians 11:24-33).
Proverbs 24:10:
If you falter, fail, faint, are slack, are weak, or do nothing in a time of trouble, pressure, adversity, distress, crisis, or difficulty how small, limited, and weak is your strength! (a combination of several translations)
Are we going to fail at times? Yes. But we are not going to make a habit of it because of two important factors:
1. We love Jesus, so we want to obey Him: “Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.” Jesus, John 14:21
2. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).

More encouragement from God's Word:
We are “being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that [we] may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified [us] to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.” Colossians 1:11-12
We can “be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power” (Ephesians 6:10).
We are strong when the word of God lives in us enabling us to overcome Satan (1 John 2:14).
When we serve God we can serve “with the strength God provides” (1 Peter 4:11).
“The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one” (Psalm 28:8).
