Not Words, Power

1 Corinthians 4 says our faith is not mere words. This 1-minute devotion encourages us to grasp the power of our faith. #BibleLoveNotes #Bible

I love 1 Corinthians 4:20: “For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.”

You see, Christianity is living what we believe, not simply talking about it.

God's Word is not just a lot of talk. It's “alive and active. (Hebrews 4:12).

When we speak it and pray it and memorize and study it, we bring more than words into our lives. we bring power.(1)

There's power in obeying it.

“Whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it--not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it--they will be blessed in what they do.” James 1:25

You and I are limited in our own power, but God empowers us with His strength when we seek His will. We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength (Philippians 4:13).

Our faith gives us God's “immeasurable and unlimited” power to transform our hearts, minds, and lives (Ephesians 1:18-21).

Let's live in that power!
