♥ Scripture's 5 Point Plan for Preventing Spiritual Heart Disease ♥

God has a plan for preventing spiritual heart disease. This 1-minute devotion explains. #BibleLoveNotes #Bible

It's good to take steps to prevent physical heart disease, and even more important to take these steps to prevent spiritual heart disease:

1. Develop right heart desires:
Matthew 6:21: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

2. Teach your heart to trust in God’s wisdom, not man’s:
Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

3. Guard your heart from bad influences:
Proverbs 4:23: “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”

4. Develop a grateful heart:
Psalm 9:1: “I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.”

5. Seek God daily about your words and thoughts:
Psalm 19:14: “May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
