Pray for These Folks but Don't Listen to Them

A man wrote to Bible Love Notes regarding the post March 31st: When Public Holidays Mock Christianity. He said, “Because of this message I unsubscribed. I don't like it when Christians politicize their messages.” 

Many who call themselves Christians believe they can worship Christ in church, but be silent when He is mocked in culture and politics. They try to shame Christians who live their faith in all areas of life.

We need to pray for these people who are offended by the salt and light of Christianity (Matthew 5:13-16). And we need recognize that many who shame Christians are Weeds whose purpose is to compromise God's church. We must not listen to them!

Abortion and LGBTQ lifestyles are biblical and moral issues first and foremost. The genuineness of our faith and love for mankind is reflected in our willingness to speak and vote biblically (Proverbs 24:11-12; Psalm 82:2-4). 

“If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38 *

For those who take a stand for Christ in all areas of life, He shared this truth:

“Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” Mark 13:13

Let’s remember that those who hate us for speaking truth are bringing us eternal rewards (Matthew 5:10-16).
