We’re living in a critical time in church history. We must encourage each other to stand firm and speak up unashamedly for God's Word.
There are many problems in our world, but some are especially destructive in God’s eyes. Abortion, transgender experiments, and homosexuality are damaging people’s bodies, souls, and spirits. And the book of Esther has a message for all of us.
In Esther 4, the Jews were in danger of being slaughtered. Mordecai told Queen Esther to explain this to the king, but she was afraid. If she approached the king without an invitation, she could be put to death.
Mordecai warned her not to shrink back, saying, “Who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
This was the motivation Esther needed to do what God had called her to do. It was no accident she was in the royal court at that point in history.
And this is our situation as well. It's no accident that you and I are alive during this critical time in church history (Acts 17:24-28). God placed us here “for such a time as this.”
When we speak up, we may be rejected and ridiculed. But we know that “we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10).
We won't shrink back. We're going to speak up about God’s deliverance from these sins that are damaging people's hearts, minds, and souls.
