When we listen to God's Spirit (Romans 8:12-13) and refuse to conform to the world, we are transformed by renewing our minds (Romans 12:2). Here are three ways we do that:
1. We guard our eyes.
"I will refuse to look at anything vile and vulgar." Psalm 101:3
We can and should avoid any form of entertainment that glorifies or romanticizes immorality. (See No Shades of Grey and Are You Enjoying Popular Pornography?)
2. We guard our mouth.
"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." Ephesians 4:29
