"Well, Lord" she prayed, "It looks like it might be cancer, the 'big C'."
She'd beaten it once before but it looked like it might be threatening her health again.
But Christ spoke to her heart: "I Am the Big C, JoAnn."
Days later, when the diagnosis proved to be what she'd suspected, JoAnn continued to experience God's peace. Through surgery, chemo, and radiation therapy, she depended on Christ's strength and love.
cancer, confusion, crisis ... all of these and every other problem in our lives are "little c's."
But Christ is, was, and always will be the Big C.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
So whatever your little c is today, remember Who your Big C is and rest, hope, trust, rejoice, wait, and believe.
I thank JoAnn Lampe for allowing me to share this story from her life.
