God Has an Enemy Who Has Created a New Vocabulary for Sin

Satan wants to change the language of sin. But we need to maintain a Biblical perspective.

God has an enemy, dear Christians, who is in the business of blinding unbelievers to the truth and twisting their view of sin (2 Corinthians 4:4).

This enemy has taught non-Christians to see themselves as victims, not sinners, and many Christians have bought into this lie as well.

But Scripture tells us sin is motivated by "evil desire":

Each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. James 1:14-15

Satan has the world believing that sex is never a sin. And he's promoted the false belief in the church that sexual sins are no different than gossip.

But Scripture teaches this:

“Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.” 1 Corinthians 6:18

Satan especially loves promoting pride in LGBTQI+ sins because they not only do serious damage to people's souls, they mock God's loving design (Romans 1:18-32).

He loves hearing Christians called haters when they share God's loving commands. And he loves hearing Christians soften their language when talking about LGBTQI+ sins.

Dear Christians, Scripture makes it clear that gay pride is not only soul-damaging, it's evil, shameful, and a mockery of our God. If we soften our view of it, we lose our biblical perspective.
