God-Fearers Enjoy Blessings Known Only to God-Fearers

Do you know about the wonderful blessings God gives to those who fear Him? This short devotion explains.

The fear of the Lord is a healthy fear that Christians have because we understand the incredible power, justice, love, and mercy of our Lord. If you haven't read the other devotions in this series, please see The Many Aspects of Fearing God.

And today, please read through these verses that explain the many benefits of being a God-fearer. Even better, read through them aloud with a grateful heart!

Psalm 145:19: "He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them."

Psalm 31:19: "How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you."

Psalm 34:7-11: "The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Fear the LORD, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD."
