Did You Know that God Has Specific Plans for Your Life?

Be encouraged by these Biblical truths about your purposes in God's kingdom!

Do you know that God has specific plans for your life?

It’s hard for us to grasp, but we serve a God who knows the number of hairs on every person’s head (Matthew 10:29-31). There isn’t a detail of our lives that's unknown to Him.

In addition, He has designed specific purposes for each of us.

"For we are God’s handiwork [workmanship, masterpiece] created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared [ordained, planned] in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10

I can see so many ways that God has prepared me for specific purposes in my life. He's used good situations and bad situations, godly people and ungodly people, blessings and trials.

We are all works in progress, and God is doing good things in us (Philippians 1:6).

Hindsight helps me understand why I can “rejoice always, pray continually, [and] give thanks in all circumstances.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

If we love Him and seek His purposes, God will use everything in our lives for good.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

Take time today to thank God that you are His workmanship, and He has plans for your life!
