We're More Than Overcomers! Romans 8:31-39

Whenever you feel overwhelmed, Pull out your Bible and remember these truths.

Sometimes I'm grieved by the state of our world and by my personal challenges in life.
Things can seem overwhelming.

That's when I need to pull out my Bible and read John 16:33:

“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” ~ Jesus

Then I need to read Romans 8:31-39:

"If God is for us, who can be against us? … Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? … No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us … neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

If you're facing a hardship or challenge, take a moment to reread those passages and ask God to give you the comfort and strength you need!

If you have six minutes and need a pick-me-up, listen to Powerful Praise. And I also recommend Help in Adversity.
