7 Ways to Walk in the Opposite Spirit

When people treat us badly, we can "walk in the opposite spirit." This 1-minute devotion explains. #BibleLoveNotes #Bible

We can stay faithful even if we're the only one...

It is so easy to judge our behavior by the behavior of others, but Paul says:
"We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise." 2 Corinthians 10:12

Instead, we should do the right thing even if others do the wrong things:
  1. Walk in humility even if others are proud.
  2. Confess and repent even if others excuse and justify.
  3. Oppose the popular evils of this world even if others embrace them.
  4. Be considerate even if others are inconsiderate.
  5. Stand up for God's Words even if others deny or dilute them.
  6. Obey God carefully even if others are careless.
  7. Pursue God's Kingdom even if others pursue their own kingdoms.
Matthew 13:24-30 says there are pretenders in the Body of Christ, and we must not let them influence our faith. Instead, we should be influencing theirs.
