Everyone has a worldview—beliefs that define reality for us and influence every area of our lives—our thoughts, actions, goals, standards, and purposes.
A Christian worldview is based uncompromisingly on God’s Word. If God’s Word says something different than what we think, we adjust our thinking (Romans 12:2).
If God’s Word commands us to do something difficult, we deny ourselves and do it (Matthew 16:24).
If God’s Word is challenged, compromised, or mocked, we defend it (1 Peter 3:15; 2 Timothy 4:1-4; 2 Corinthians 10:5; Colossians 2:8).
If we disobey God’s commands, we feel deep conviction, and we repent (1 John 1:8-10).
We are facing great pressure to conform to a secular worldview, and we are seeing a division in our churches: those who remain faithful, walking the narrow path of belief in God’s Word, and those who wrongly think they can straddle the fence between the narrow path of Christ and the wide highway to destruction (Matthew 7:13-14).
Genuine believers are grateful that God has chosen us, and we know that whatever He teaches us in His Word is good, right, best, and praiseworthy.
We believe the words of Christ in John 15:19:
“If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”
Thank You, Jesus, for choosing us out of the world and giving us the accurate view of this life and eternal life.
