“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made” (Romans 1:20).
When we look at creation, we learn these things (and more) about God's divine nature:
1. God is gloriously complex.
We will always be learning new things about God’s creation. Deuteronomy 29:29 and Romans 11:33-36
2. God is incredibly artistic.
No human painting can match the beauty of His sunsets, ocean waves, majestic mountains, etc. Psalm 19:1
3. God enjoys beauty and wants us to enjoy it too.
Have you ever thought about the fact that God could have created a beige world with a handful of plain-looking plants and animals. But He created so much more!
4. God cares deeply about our well-being.
Studies show that enjoying nature reduces depression and helps relieve stress and anxiety. Creation is one way God shows us His love. Psalm 103
So let's rejoice in our wonderful Lord and praise Him for His creation!
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Revelation 4:11
