It’s important to remember and celebrate meaningful events in our salvation history.
This Friday, please remember what Christ did:
" 'He himself bore our sins' in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; 'by his wounds you have been healed.' " 1 Peter 2:24(1)
On Friday I encourage you to do something to remember Christ's love and sacrifice. If you want to read about something I do, this 1-minute devotion will explain: Remembering Christ’s Sacrifice on Good Friday.
On Sunday, please remember that Christ proved His victory over sin and death and gave us new life:
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 1 Peter 1:3
I encourage you to create family traditions and do specific things to remember this important week. It's part of God's salvation story and part of your salvation story if you're a believer.
“Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced.” Psalm 105:5
Bible Love Notes has a Resurrection Blessings Collection of more than 20 1-minute devotions that can inspire, instruct, and encourage you. Consider reading some of these devotions each day this week.
