An Important Week in Our Salvation History

This 1-minute devotion offers reasons to rejoice and celebrate special events in our salvation.

It’s important to remember and celebrate meaningful events in our salvation history.

This Friday, please remember what Christ did:

" 'He himself bore our sins' in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; 'by his wounds you have been healed.' " 1 Peter 2:24(1)

On Friday I encourage you to do something to remember Christ's love and sacrifice. If you want to read about something I do, this 1-minute devotion will explain: Remembering Christ’s Sacrifice on Good Friday

On Sunday, please remember that Christ proved His victory over sin and death and gave us new life:

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 1 Peter 1:3

I encourage you to create family traditions and do specific things to remember this important week. It's part of God's salvation story and part of your salvation story if you're a believer.

Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced.” Psalm 105:5
