Our Souls are in Conflict

The aisles in Grocery stores tell us something about the conflict in our souls. #BibleLoveNotes #Bible #devotions

In almost every grocery store you’ll find aisles of cookies, desserts, candy, and soft drinks side-by-side with aisles of diet foods, health foods, vitamins, and supplements.

We’re in conflict.

We want to eat too many sweets and we want to be thin and healthy.

We want to spend time with the Lord each morning and we want to sleep in.

We want to join a Bible study and we want to play golf.

We want to have pure thoughts and we want to indiscriminately watch popular entertainment.

We want to stand up for Jesus and we want everyone to like us.

We need to clean our house and we want to do something fun.

When two things are in conflict, one will win. One will master us.

"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other." Matthew 6:24

Let’s make right choices, dear Christians!
