4 Aspects of Christian Growth

This 1-minute devotion shares 4 Aspects of Christian growth, each beginning with the letter "P"

When was the last time you were convicted of a sin?

We're all sinners, and God regularly convicts us of sin, if we're listening.

God's conviction is constructive, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have an "ouch factor." If we never feel an "ouch" when we're praying, we need to ask ourselves if we're listening.

Christian growth is:

1. A PROCESS: It's called sanctification, and it's the "working out of our salvation."
Philippians 2:12-13

2. PRODUCTIVE: There should be outward signs of inward changes.
Acts 26:20

3. PERSONAL: It involves dealing with personal sins and being humbled personally.
1 John 1:8-10; James 4:8-10

4. PURPOSEFUL: It improves our witness, making us salt and light in our world.
Matthew 5:13-16

Has God convicted you of sin lately? Have you asked God's forgiveness lately?

If you're answer is 'no' to these questions, you may not be listening. So
Ask God to give you ears that hear (Mark 4:9).
