Intelligent Design and Unintelligent Theories

Where is the wise man of this age? Evolution has created a theory of foolishness that defies the evidence.

The faces of four famous American presidents can be seen in the solid rock of Mt. Rushmore.

Have you ever wondered how they got there?

Do you think it's possible that random cosmic or atmospheric conditions created those faces?

Of course, this is a ridiculous question. Anyone who sees those faces knows that someone sculpted them. It would be ignorant to assume otherwise. In fact, only a fool would believe Mt. Rushmore was an accident of nature.

Why then do so many educated people believe the human body—something living, intelligent, and far more complex—is merely an accident of nature?

Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 1 Corinthians 1:20

Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires... But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 2 Peter 3:3,5(1)

Aren't you glad that we know the Creator of the universe?

Why not take some time today to enjoy the beauty He has "carved" into every corner of our world?

---------------

(1) The use of water in this verse refers to creation. Note the way the word "water" is used in Genesis 1.

My family is from Colorado, and even if you aren't from Colorado, I think you'll enjoy this devotion about God's wonderful creation: God's Love Is Like a Colorado 14er. Then there was the time God spoke to my husband and me through the wonderful little killdeer bird: Killdeer Love and God's Love. And if you are a dog-owner, I think you'll be blessed by Dogs Tell Us Something About Our God.

Where is the wise man of this age? Evolution has created a theory of foolishness that defies the evidence.

  2. I agree great example! Amazing that we think so much of ourselves and our fellow man that we think it's impossible that there could be One even more creative and more Perfect than we.
