4 Ways to Daily Enjoy God's Creation - Romans 1:20

God's divine character in creation, Romans 1:20, men without excuse
Let's daily savor God's divine nature present in His creation...

“Beautiful!”

I said that often on a trip to the Croatian coast.

Whenever I acknowledge the beauty of mountains, sea, sky and nature, I’m acknowledging the Creator.

Romans 1:20 says, “since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”

This passage means that men who deny God are without excuse because He can be seen in His creation, but I also think we are "without excuse" to ignore the beauty around us each day!

So here’s a few ideas:
♥ Learn something new about creation today and share it with someone else.
♥ Journal about the beauty of a particular aspect of nature you see daily, perhaps a flower or tree in your garden.
♥ Take a walk and concentrate on the beauty you usually take for granted.
♥ Say "Beautiful!" regularly.

Today let's enjoy the creation and the Creator!

Please share any ideas you have for enjoying God in creation. I'd love to hear them!

  1. I LOVE to take my grandchildren anywhere they can be free to explore the beauty of creation. I encourage them to look for special colored leaves, pine-cones, a special rock, anything that they can collect as a treasure. I also am an avid photographer, capturing God's creation and choosing an appropriate scripture to go with it. Thanks for sharing. Abby

  2. A cup of my favorite hot tea and time to sit on my back porch and drink it always opens my eyes to the beauty God has created--even at 4:00 AM!
