Come to Him

Jesus gives us a 3-step answer to inner peace. This 1-minute devotion explains. #BibleLoveNotes #Bible

I confess that I can easily lose my peace when I focus on difficult things in my life.

Relationship disappointments are the worst, often leaving me worried, sad, angry or depressed.

Jesus speaks to me in Matthew 11:28-30:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Come, Take and Learn.

  • Come to Him and quit seeking answers from myself or others.
  • Take His yoke by surrendering myself to His will in my life.
  • Learn from Him how to handle the trials. And learn that He is all I need to have joy and peace.
If you also lose your peace at times, I suggest you join me.

Together let’s Come, Take, and Learn.

  4. Hi Gail,
I have battled with relationship struggles. It seems to really wear me out. I find that though it indeed makes sad, that ultimately it makes me seek Him all the more.
How awesome that Jesus would be willing to yoke up with us. He carries the entire load (burden)- while we get to rest up- while walking humbly beside him. What a bonus to have Him not only bearing the weight of the burden, but to have His company as we continue forward. He moves forward at a gentle pace and slowly lets us grow accustomed to bearing weight again in a healthy spirit filled (refilled) way.
I love your devotions. Love your heart sweet Gail.
