Do you believe Romans 8:37-39?
“We are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
When we know Christ, these verses represent our life and our eternity.
Sometimes we begin to doubt that God is with us because things in life seem so difficult. When this happens, let’s consider the lives of God’s faithful saints and “press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called [us] heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14).
Sometimes we begin to doubt that God is with us because the world hates us. When this happens, let’s remember these words of Christ: “You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved” (Matthew 10:22).
Sometimes we begin to doubt because we’re weary. When this happens, let’s remember Christ’s invitation: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).
Nothing can separate us from God’s love! Remind yourself of that often!!
