Let's Step Up to the Plate!

It's time for Christian men and women to acknowledge God's purposes and reject cultural values! This 1-minute devotion explains.

I’m all for equal pay and equal privilege for women. I don't agree with women being treated like second-class citizens.

But I would never identify as a feminist because the feminist movement has damaged the beauty and ignored the purposes of God’s design for women.

Christian women who believe the Bible is God’s Word need to ask ourselves if we are walking with the Lord or with the world.

Ministry in the home is despised and underestimated by our culture, but it is honored and valued by God (Titus 2:3-5). My faith has been deeply impacted by Christian women who gave up worldly goals to minister the love of Jesus to their families (1 John 2:15-17).

It’s time for women to step up to the plate, reject cultural feminism, and stand firmly for Christ in their homes.

I appreciate my husband's input below:

And this is not simply a woman's responsibility. Men should be leading their families toward God’s purposes as well (Ephesians 2:10).

I’ve seen men raised in solid Christian homes who’ve let their wives lead their family into “progressive Christianity,” denying the inerrancy of the Bible and rejecting unpopular truths in Scripture.

It’s time for men to step up to the plate, obey God’s instructions for men, and stand firmly and lovingly for Christ in their homes. See Matthew 6:33, Ephesians 5:23-30, Ephesians 6:4, Ephesians 6:10-18, and Colossians 2:8.

When one spouse isn’t a Christian, there are limitations in our roles in the family, but we must be careful to seek God's purposes to the full extent that we are able.

  1. Love it! Feminism is a blight on our culture and not Scriptural. Women are strong , God meant us to a helper in our families. There is a difference between being feminine and being a feminist( which is all about power in my book.)
This usurps God’s plan for us to be a feminist.
We should all give God His rightful place. He alone is in control.
Thank-you Gail and Michael for your ministry !
    Love you❤️🙏
