Many Christians are wondering whether the end times will come in our lifetime, especially considering some of the current events.
I believe the New Testament authors wondered the same. I doubt they realized when they wrote instructions about the end times that we'd still be reading them 2000 years later.
Here are some of those instructions from 2 Thessalonians 2:
1. Don’t be disturbed by reports that the end has come.
It will not come like a “thief in the night” to Christians (1 Thessalonians 5:1-11). We’ll recognize the signs.
2. It won’t happen until the Antichrist is revealed.
He’ll proclaim himself God and do signs and wonders to fool those who “refused to love the truth and so be saved.”
3. The satanic spirit of the Antichrist is already present in our world.
See 2 Thessalonians 2:7 and 1 John 4:2-3.
The best news:
4. Jesus will overthrow this evil man with “the breath of his mouth.”
“So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings” of our faith.

So grateful that the Rapture will take believers out of the most horrendous events of the end-times. I, too, believe that the Tribulation is so, so close!
ReplyDeleteAmen, God has not appointed us unto wrath and that is what will come after we are gone.
DeleteI hope you aren't saying that we will know it's the end times because the antichrist will be revealed because believers won't know who the antichrist is. We will be raptured before then.
ReplyDeleteyes, i believe the tribulation is coming very soon based upon signs i already see
ReplyDeleteChildren, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. (I John 2:18) Antichrists have been with us since the foundation of Christianity.
