When you think of all the possible dangers, you might wonder how any of us makes it out of childhood. But most of us do make it out of childhood, and most of our worries are unfounded.
We aren't meant to live in fear, even when the world is struggling with pandemics, wars, or natural disasters. Christ-followers have the comfort of the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). And we have Scriptures to give us peace and comfort:
"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts." Colossians 3:16
So, if you are fearful of anything in your life, real or imagined, read through these verses, recite them aloud, memorize them, write them in a journal. Pray them. Share them in your Bible studies and small groups. Think about them whenever you feel fearful, and fear not!
