Eternal Gratitude and Great Expectation

This one truth should keep us from ever feeling completely discouraged. It is a hope that only Christians have, but we often forget it. #BibleLoveNotes #Biblestudy

Dear Christians, we’ve been given the greatest gift – eternal salvation. This should give us a continual attitude of gratitude.

God invites us to pray about our needs and concerns, and we should do that.

But when God’s plans include difficulty, we should focus on the great gift He’s already given us. We don’t “deserve” salvation, so we certainly don’t deserve an easy life.

Our sins are forgiven and our future is to live in eternity with Christ. That alone should produce eternal gratitude and great expectation.

"Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while."
1 Peter 1:3-6
