Eternal Gratitude and Great Expectation

This one truth should keep us from ever feeling completely discouraged. It is a hope that only Christians have, but we often forget it. #BibleLoveNotes #Biblestudy

Dear Christians, we’ve been given the greatest gift – eternal life. This should give us a continual attitude of gratitude.

But sometimes God’s plans include difficulty, and it's easy to forget about our eternal gift and start complaining about our temporary hardships.

That's when we need to remember:

1. Our sins are forgiven (Ephesians 1:7).
2. God is always with us (Hebrews 13:5).
3. Our eternity is perfect (John 3:16).

Even though we may have some rough times here on earth, we should live each day in expectation of our perfect future with our Lord (1 Peter 1:3-6).

Life is short. Eternity is forever.

"So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while." 1 Peter 1:6
