5 Ways God Works in Human Hearts – Psalm 37:4
God is working in hearts, yours and mine.

1. To comfort:
Psalm 34:18: “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

2. To calm:
To reveal Himself:
Matthew 5:8: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”

3. To strengthen:
Psalm 73:26: ”My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

4. To give us peace:
John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Philippians 4:7: “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

5. To fulfill godly desires:
Psalm 37:4: “Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”(1)
