When We'll Be Home At Last

When we feel discouraged, disappointed, or disillusioned, we need to remember this important Biblical Truth! #BibleLoveNotes #Bible

Even after a fun vacation or nice family visit, it's good to get home.

Ideally, home is the place where we can be ourselves and feel loved and accepted.

Maybe your home isn't a good place, but you long for it, don't you?

Here on earth, we deal with misunderstandings, conflict, sickness, rejection, sorrow, and pain. We can take all of our pain to the Lord for comfort, but life here will never be trouble-free (John 16:33).

So how do we persevere?

We admit we're strangers on earth, focus on eternity, and find comfort in God's love. People who do this "show that they are looking for a country of their own...a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them" (Hebrews 11:13-16).

Someday all of us who love Jesus will be home at last, united with our forever family who love and accept us, safe and happy with the Lord. Now that's worth the wait!
