"Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye." NLT
We can't see other people's sins clearly with a big old log in our eye.
There are famous examples: well-known pastors who preached against immorality but lived immorally.
But folks with eye-logs are everywhere:
- Judgmental people getting upset when they are judged.
- Rude people expecting others to treat them kindly.
- People claiming to be tolerant while showing intolerance to those who disagree with them.
- Disrespectful people demanding respect.
Then I remember the log ... and I ask God to remove any logs in my eyes.
