Christianity isn't passive.
Jesus said "Go."
This might mean:
- Going across the world.
- Going across the street.
- Boldly sharing Jesus with a stranger.
- Being a godly neighbor.
- Doing something dangerous.
- Teaching Sunday school.
- Or a thousand other things...
The basis for anything we do is our relationship with Jesus. When it's active, our faith will be active.
1 Peter 1:13 says "Prepare your minds for action." We do that by spending time in prayer and God's Word, having fellowship with other Christians, obeying God's commands, and dealing with our sins.
An active relationship with Jesus = an active faith.

Hi Marja,
Deletethanks for the url to your site. I used google translate and love what I read. (For some reason Google translate seems to do better with Dutch than other languages, so I think I understood most of what I translated). Your ministry sounds like a wonderful way to add action to faith. And bless you for all of the writing you do yourself.
Gail
This is so right and something that we need to hear from time to time . . . I do not want to get passive where my faith is concerned.
