Are You Taking Enough Risks?

In 1962, in my home town of Ft. Collins, Colorado a dentist and a hydraulic engineering professor experimented in a house basement until they created a tool for irrigating teeth and gums. They named their business Water Pik and it eventually became a huge corporation.

Many success stories begin humbly:
“HP, Google, Microsoft, and Apple have one thing in common – apart from the obvious that they are IT companies. They were all started in garages.”

Successful people are typically risk-takers who are willing to make mistakes and try new things.

God asks us to be these kind of people spiritually. 

No matter how humble our beginnings, how small our talents, how insecure our emotions, God expects us to move forward with confidence in Him.
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared..." Ephesians 2:10, NASB.
God has things for you and me to do today...let's do them!

  3. I loved this! And I always need to remind myself that from the ashes of disaster grow the roses of success. (Credit to 'Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang') Humble beginnings are still beginnings. If the Lord is with you, anything can be accomplished. Thank you for sharing on NOBH!
