1-Minute Bible Love Notes is ad-free, spam-free ministry.

Are you busy?

Most folks are.

But it's so important that we never get too busy to spend time with the Lord.

The Psalmist said, "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God" (Psalm 42:1).

That's the attitude all of us would have if we realized how spending time with God can revolutionize our lives:
♥ Bringing us Peace
♥ Guiding our Decisions
♥ Correcting our Misunderstandings
♥ Teachings us Truth
♥ Encouraging our Hearts

Would you like a quick and easy way to keep your focus on Jesus during your busy day?

1-Minute Bible Love Notes can be read in 60 seconds or less, and each devotion is designed to challenge, correct, instruct, or encourage readers in the Lord.

Read the devotion whenever your schedule allows and make God and His Word part of your busy day.

If you subscribe (it's free), you'll receive a one-minute devotion every weekday in your email.

  8. Need some explanation. If God foreknew and predestined someone is that someone accepted by God and others He didn't predestine are lost. How does this work. Very confused.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Dear Confused, Please explain. There is nothing in this devotion about being predestined. Are you asking a general question about salvation or something about this devotion. I'm happy to answer but I'm not sure what you are asking....could you give more details? Thanks

  9. Good Evening, Gail. I am interested to hear what you think of Joyce Meyer's teachings? I recently saw a video about tattoos and she was laughing and telling everyone there was nothing wrong with getting a tattoo and she was going to get one too. What bothered me the most was how she was saying that Jesus wouldn't mind a bit with doing anything to make ourselves look and feel better. She lost me at that point. Just curious.

    1. Deborah, Joyce Myers had a good bit of plastic surgery. She mentioned it in one of her books. Some people think that is putting too much emphasis on self, rather than God. Maybe she was deflecting from the comments. As for the tattoos, it is in the Bible that tattoos are a no no. Scary when a minister says part of the Bible isn't relevant. I avoid her and Joel Osteen.

    2. Hi Deborah,
I'm sorry that I missed responding to your comment. I can see that it's over a year old. I had some difficulty with my comment tool. It didn't publish for about a year and then published all comments at once, so I missed some like yours.

I have concerns for the teachings of Joyce Meyer. I haven't written about her particular errors, but I can recommend this article:

  12. Gail, Thank you for the incredible amount of time you spend on this blog. Sadly you will never know all those who benefit from these teachings. I have a friend who professes to be a Christian, but does not believe in Hell. She was open to reading your blog and even subscribed. And that lady is a tough cookie.
I don't know if you have done a love note on memorizing scripture, but I would like to know some scriptures to share with someone who is not a believer. I have no problem talking about my acceptance of Christ some 40 years ago, but I need scripture that I can memorize and have ready.
Thank you for all you do.

  16. Thank you Gail.
I was getting lengthy devotions on line and found I didn't have time to go through all of them if I missed a few days. This will be perfect for me.

  20. I just discovered this less than a week ago and I'm both sad and so freaking glad. Sad because, why am I just discovering this? After 11 years of being in service? WHY??😩😩 And I'm so glad💃🏾💪🏽, because I get to surround myself with more of God's truth. In these times when it's so hard being a Christian youth and I get to see and hear so many things my heart should be guarded from, I'm happy I don't need to guard my heart against this. What's more, I get to digest his word within a short time, not every time having to sit down and study the Bible (though that's important too), like ain't that awesome? 😁😅. Anyways, WELDONE BIBLE LOVE NOTES TEAM!!! May God's joy and love continually fill your hearts, may the blood of Jesus shed for us never be in vain in your life. God bless you.

  21. Please pray.

My husband and I married in 1992.
At the time I was in nursing school.
Quickly, we became pregnant. Continuing school, I was determined to get childcare when my baby was born.
When my baby was born..... EVERYTHING changed!!!!!
Once she was born, my husband and I decided I would stay at home and raise our baby girl.

Followed by 17 more years of mothering, I gladly put my school on hold. Raised my baby and her brother with my own sweet and tears and prayers.

Fast forward to 2009, when the kids were older, we took a family vote, I re enrolled in nursing school.

With my attention away from our children, we missed her slipping away. And into the wrong influence!!

My prayer request is that you would please believe with us she will return to the Savior I lead her to on her 5th birthday. She knows the truth!! But she is living a lie.

    Please help!!
