God's Precepts Are Meant to Be Fully Obeyed

When you hear God’s Word mocked and criticized by culture, remember these truths. They'll change your perspective!

Combining the various descriptive words in the English translations for Psalm 119:4, we learn that God has given us commands and precepts that are to be fully, diligently, carefully, and faithfully obeyed.

God’s precepts and commands are perfect. They are life-changing truths essential for our growth in Christ and our well-being (2 Samuel 22:31; Psalm 12:6; Psalm 18:30; Proverbs 30:5). They are based on God’s design and God’s love.

Culture is always changing the “rules.”

It might be illegal to smoke marijuana or it might be legal. It might be looked down on to live together before marriage or it might be totally acceptable.

Romans 1 describes man's propensity for choosing evil instead of good, foolishness instead of wisdom.

God's commands bless hearts, minds, bodies, and souls, proving that God is an all-wise, all-knowing Designer and Creator. Man's rules often damage hearts, minds, bodies, and souls.

So when you hear God’s Word mocked and criticized by culture, don't let it concern you. Instead, let it strengthen your resolve to fully, diligently, carefully, and faithfully obey His commands.

"This is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome." 1 John 5:3

    1. Hi Brendan,
You have left multiple angry comments on my blog posts, all of which mock Christianity.

No one asked you to read my Christian posts, and no one forced you to read them, but your multiple rude comments are a good advertisement for the hopeless, empty faith of atheism.

You also need to understand that you are an internet troll. Another name for internet troll would be internet mocker because your purpose is to attack, mock, and offend.

But you don't offend me. You merely prove to me how empty and useless your beliefs actually are. This is what happens when anyone mocks God.

You can leave all the comments you want, but I'm not going to be reading or publishing them anymore. You have proved my point about the emptiness of atheism.
