Characteristics Present in Genuine Faith

♥ Deliberate
♥ Diligent
♥ Disciplined

These 3 "D's" should describe every Christian's walk with God.

Deliberate: We don't just wait for Christian growth to happen, we plan for it. 

"Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling" [i.e. holy awe, reverent obedience, deliberate thought and planning] Philippians 2:12

Diligent: We don't work at it half-heatedly because we know "everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus [our] Lord." Philippians 3:8


Disciplined: We don't just do it when we feel like it because we know growth requires consistency.

"Stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:58
