Glowing, Growing, Knowing, Seeing, Fleeing

Ephesians 5 tells us to Glow, Grow, Know, See, and Flee. Find out exactly what that means in this 1-minute devotion. #BibleLoveNotes #Bible

Ephesians 5:8-13 contains some important principles for Christians:

1. We should glow:
"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord."
(See also Philippians 2:15)

2. We should grow:
"Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)"
(See also Romans 8:12-13)

3. We should know:
"find out what pleases the Lord."
(See also 2 Corinthians 5:6-10)

4. We should see:
"Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." (See also Romans 13:12)

5. We should flee:
"It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light."
(See also Psalm 101:3)

Let's glow, grow, know, see, and flee.

Matthew 5:16 sums it up this way: "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

If you are using it for any other purpose, please write and explain (gail@biblelovenotes.com) and I will give you further details.
