This devotion is part of a ten-part series on Psalm 119:9-16. Read the entire series HERE.
"God has called us to live holy lives" (1 Thessalonians 4:7), and one way we do that is to speak God's words often throughout our day.
This sentiment is also found in Ephesians 5:18-19: "Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit."
We see it also in Colossians 3:16: "Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts."
God's Words are like no other words.
They're alive (Hebrews 4:12), having the power to transform our minds, and always accomplishing God's purposes (Isaiah 55:11).
How often do you speak God's Word on an average day? Think of ways to speak it more often.
