Christians Become More Valuable Because We Bear the Name of Christ - Romans 3:12, Ephesian 1:13

The Name of Jesus above all Names, Jesus gives His followers worth beyond their own
We become more valuable because we bear the Name above all Names...

While shopping for shoes, I saw a pair of simple canvas shoes. They were no better quality than similar less expensive shoes. But they had the name “Kate Spade” sewn on top and that made the price four times higher.

It’s amazing that a name can increase the value of something so far beyond it’s worth.

Then I realized: I’m like those Kate Spade canvas shoes.

You see, I was once a worthless model (Romans 3:12). Then Jesus marked me with his Name. And my value increased far beyond my worth because His Name is above all Names (Philippians 2:9).

“And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit” Ephesians 1:13.

Next time you see something overpriced because it bears a particular name, realize the same is true of you if you love Jesus.

  4. This is such a great analogy and so true. We are one of a kind, aren't we? And that seal of His will never be removed or lost or marked down! :) Thanks so much for linking up to "Making Your Home Sing Monday!"
