Revisionist gay theology depends on an ineffective god:
1. A god who's a poor communicator.
Even though God's Word always mentions homosexuality in a negative light, they believe that God actually approves of homosexual monogamy.
2. A god who's unable or unwilling to correct error in the church.
They believe all translation teams, the vast majority of Bible scholars, pastors, and teachers throughout history have misunderstood or purposely distorted God's teaching on homosexuality.
Revisionist teachers, like other modern false teachers, believe they are God's true prophets, sent after thousands of years of corrupted teaching in the church.
God cares deeply about homosexuals. He wouldn't let them suffer under false teaching for thousands of years.
In His perfect love, He forbids things that damage our hearts and souls—and homosexuality is one of those things.
We can choose to approve of homosexual behavior, but we cannot do it in God's name. The God of the Bible forbids homosexuality and He's made it clear throughout history.
