During the Corona virus pandemic, authorities recommended we wash our hands carefully, scrubbing for at least 20 seconds. This was a ritual that easily doubled as a reminder to pray for those who had Covid.
But we don't need to be in the midst of a pandemic to use an everyday practice as a reminder to pray. We can pray for our siblings when we wash our hands, our parents when we brush our teeth, our children when we pour our first cup of coffee, etc.
If we already have a good routine of prayer for friends and family, we can use these situations as reminders to pray for people we might not remember to pray for as often. For example, Christians persecuted for their faith (Hebrews 13:3) and Government leaders, even those we might not agree with (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
Using everyday activities as pray reminders helps us pray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

Yes, what a great idea to pray while washing hands, in addition to before eating, upon waking, and before bed, and when we wake up in the night!
