God's Gracious Love

This 1-minute devotion offers some important explanations of Grace and how it shapes God's love for us.

Grace is an inseparable element of God’s love.

“Because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5

God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.

We can exhibit grace toward others, but the most gracious acts of mankind don’t come close to God’s grace given to us who deserve to die in our sins.

I hate to hear the word “unconditional” tied to God’s grace.

You won’t find it used in Scripture.

This 1-minute devotion offers some important explanations of Grace and how it shapes God's love for us.
God’s grace had an enormous condition – the death of Jesus.

And while none of us can do anything to be worthy of Christ’s death and the resulting grace, it is given only to those who believe.

After we receive grace, we cannot help but:

1. Understand the cost - (1 Corinthians 6:20).

2. Love the Giver (1 John 2:15-17).

3. Follow the Giver (Luke 9:23).

4. Obey the Giver (John 14:21).

Receiving God’s grace raises us from our spiritual graves (Ephesians 2:1-10).

No one who receives it remains unchanged.

What a great love He has given us!

  1. After last week's heartbreaking tragedy at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School, this devotion is the perfect way to start my day by reflecting on the priceless gift of God's amazing grace. My prayer is that these families, students, teachers, administrators and first responders will find strength and courage through faith and the love of God's people.
