Jesus Is Creator - He Was Not Created
It's important that we Christians know how to accurately answer questions about Christ's divinity.
Some religions claim that Jesus was created (born), and therefore not God.
Not true. Jesus is Creator, not created.
All three members of the Godhead were present and participating in Creation. Genesis 1:1-2 names God and the Spirit and John 1:1-14 confirms both Christ's presence and divinity:
"In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God... 3God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him... 10He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him...14So the Word became human and made his home among us."
Colossians 1:15-20 also confirms Christ as Creator.
The fact that Christ was "born" is part of His choice to become a man and die for our sins. It doesn't negate His infinite role in the Trinity.
So put those Scriptures in your "tool box" in case someone asks how Christ could be born and not created.

There are religions that use the Bible but also claim Jesus is not God. Philippians 2:6-7 is another good passage that refutes an inferior role for Christ, showing that He chose to lower Himself to come to earth and save our souls.
