Are you ever lonely?
I am sometimes.
Most of us go through lonely periods.
Sometimes it's after a move or during a transition and it reminds us how important Christian fellowship is.
But we can also feel lonely in a house full of children or a room full of friends.
Loneliness is a reminder that there will always be a little empty place in our hearts until we see Jesus face-to-face.
But here's the good news: loneliness only exists this side of heaven.
We'll never be lonely, bored, confused, misunderstood, forgotten, unloved, unappreciated, or mistreated in heaven.
And it's a good thing to dwell on that thought whenever we're lonely.
"Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely." 1 Corinthians 13:12 NLT
