Are You Listening?

Psalm 19:1
Sometimes God whispers; but in the skies He proclaims.

Here in Croatia,* I see His glory in clear blue morning skies against the turquoise sea, in the wispy white clouds or smoky grays before a rain, and in the brilliant flaming red, orange, and purple sunsets.

God could have created the skies bleak slates of beige. After all, He defined the universal laws.

But Psalm 19 tells us “the heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.”

And the beauty they proclaim crosses all language barriers. Local Croatians can “hear” this message the same as those in Colorado, Budapest or Moscow because “They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.” (Psalm 19:3).

Are you listening?

Enjoy the sky today!
