"So What!"
Recently God spoke to me through a 1980’s sitcom.
Lest you doubt this is possible, remember that God once used a donkey to convey His truth in Numbers 22:21-35.😊
In this show, a Vermont innkeeper became depressed when he found out his inn was not unique enough for the list of historic landmarks. He even thought of selling the inn.
But after several days of moody reflection, he had an epiphany: He loved the inn. If it didn’t make the historic list….“so what!”
We all experience disappointments in life, and we’re happier if we face most of them with a “so what!” attitude.
Not an arrogant "so what!" but one that expresses acceptance and contentment. It’s part of rejoicing in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
Today I’m saying “so what!” to my disappointments and dwelling on my blessings (Philippians 4:8).
