People without faith tend to be annoyed by people with faith (2 Corinthians 2:15-16).

I assume that's why I get some very angry comments on some of my devotions. For example, a man recently left a rant filled with false claims about Old Testament laws, concluding, “These laws are morally abhorrent. Which is to say the entire belief system is based on lies.”

My devotion wasn’t about Old Testament laws, but quoting them out of context has become a popular way to criticize Christianity.

I made an attempt to address this man's comment, but he was on a mission, and he responded with more childish, uneducated retorts proving he wasn't interested in God's truth.

But, he actually proved God's truth by his rant:

“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God” (2 Corinthians 4:4).

His stubborn refusal to listen and his ridiculous twisting of God's Word illustrated his spiritual blindness.

So let's rejoice, dear remnant Christians, because we have walked out of the darkness of worldly wisdom into the wonderful light of Christ (John 8:12). And let's pray for those who remain in darkness.
